I wonder why most Americans are not outraged about this appointment. I am yet to hear a massive outcry over this truly backwards nomination. The sad thing is, it is backwards purely on its face. Everyone should be in an uproar. Is it that people are still scared of being called a racist?

The courts have always ruled that students do NOThave the same rights of self-expression in school that adults have in the rest of society. The basic idea is that schools have a responsibility to maintain an orderly environment. The school officials felt that a student who had such a contempt for school administrators should not be a part of student government, and barred her from holding a student government office. The student wanted an injunction, the court refused.

I think that this is a tempest in a teapot, and if this is the best you can do, then you don't have much of a case.
